TEMPERATURE

The unit used for temperature in the Metric System is the degree celsius, written as ⁰C. (superscript zero followed by a capital C)

Here are some examples:

                                                The freezing point of water is  0  ⁰C.

                                                The boiling point of water is 100 ⁰C.

                                                Your normal body temperature is 37 ⁰C.

                                                A hot day in Guyana is about 32 ⁰C.

                                                A rainy day is about 19 ⁰C.

Remember, use degree Celsius to measure temperature.
